PLI MC-CAMISH SLOW ACCESS AND SOLUTION

McCamish Slowness And Solution

Some of the SPMs are complaining that Mc-Camish access is very slow.  It is due to the reason that many auto updates are running in the background like windows update, adobe acrobat update service, google update.  Stop all these update services.  Also see that un-ncessary services are not running in the background in the system.  Mc-Camish access will improve. 

Follow the given steps:

1.     Click Start button

2.     Type msconfig in search box

3.     In the box that opens, click "Start up"

4.     See that only required services are selected and remove the tick mark against unwanted services.

5.     Click the "Services" menu.

6.     Click Status and sort the services (running/stopped)

7.     Remove the tick mark against adobe acrobat update service, windows update and google update.

8.     Click "Apply" at the bottom.

9.     Click "OK" button

10.         Click "Restart" button.
